Grief (A Poem)

Your absence is a shapeshifter

It’s a frosty Autumn morning

It’s a cheerful Spring evening

It’s a silent night in Winter

It’s a sweaty Summer afternoon

It’s a lead balloon

It’s a banshee’s scream

It’s an agony

It’s an ache

A howling wind

A lifeless whisper

A sad smile

A memory

A tear
